About the role:
This engineer is a proactive problem-solver with ownership over performance challenges. The role involves tackling performance issues within distributed systems, database internals, mathematical optimization solvers, GNNs, GraphRAG and other GenAI technologies.
Key responsibilities:
• Build advanced profiling and observability infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using profiling tools and tracing.
• Contribute to design reviews to foster a performance-centric engineering culture.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver customer-facing results.
Required technical expertise:
• Experience with distributed tracing and observability tools such as Datadog, Honeycomb, or LogicMonitor.
• Deep understanding of distributed system architecture, with a focus on data-intensive applications.
• Primary languages used: Python and Go.
